Eglinton Arms Commercial "a great success!"

Red Index Productions given great credit.

Joe Keenan, the owner of the Eglinton Arms Hotel Eaglesham, said today that the recent commercial campaign they ran on STV had been "a great success!".

"The response from the commercial has been exceptional. The feedback we got, and felt ourselves, was that the commercial gave the public the chance to see the major changes and improvements we have made to the hotel since taking it over. Our bookings are up and it has given the hotel a lot of credibility.

We knew that once we got the customer in the door the hotel and the staff would sell themselves, and the commercial, which Red Index Production's produced, illustrated that very well".

As well as the commercial, Red Index Productions have produced a mini documentary for the hotel, to be issued on dvd.

Producer/Director Kevin Devine of Red Index Productions said,

"During the production of the commercial, the staff at the hotel were such natural characters that a docu-soap seemed like a natural extension of the project, so we stayed on and filmed for a few days more".

The results are now being sent out to potential customers when they enquire about the hotel. Joe Keenan said,

"We feel that this is the way forward in marketing the hotel. The traditional way to let someone see the hotel has always been through brochures and leaflets. The next development was the use of a web site and the internet. Now we can let people see the hotel in action and the people who run it. It gives them a far better idea of what their visit will look like".
